How common are recalls along the lines of the Duragesic patch recall? Honestly, recalls are rare and most medical products work fine and are quite helpful. In the case of the Duragesic pain patch this item was defective and leaked its medicine content onto the recipient far too rapidly. This created the potential for overdoses making it a very dangerous product and one that should never have been released to the market in the first place.
