The Defect Leading to the Duragesic Pain Patch Recall
Many are familiar with the recent recall controversy of the Duragesic pain patches. So what was the actual problem with the Duragesic pain patch that led to the recall? Honestly, the vast majority of these pain patches was fine and performed the task in which they were intended. However, there were those errant patches that were defective and due to these defects the products became very dangerous. The leaks led to the wearer absorbing far too much pain medicine far too quickly and that is why the overdoses occurred. Additionally, this is why the product has been hit with so many lawsuits.
